STRUCTURE OF MCI

The Methodist Church in India (MCI) is the central governing body that oversees all Methodist organizations across the country. As part of the global United Methodist Church, the MCI upholds the shared values and mission of Methodism while serving the unique needs of the Indian community.

The MCI is divided into multiple Regional Conferences, each of which is responsible for overseeing churches, schools, hospitals, and institutions within its region. These Regional Conferences provide spiritual guidance and organizational support across vast geographical areas.

Each Regional Conference is further organized into Districts, which manage local churches and institutions within. Districts play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day functioning of Methodist congregations, ensuring that the faith community remains strong and vibrant at the grassroots level.

At the heart of each District are the local churches, schools, hospitals, and other institutions that serve the community. These local entities carry out the mission of the Methodist Church in India by providing spiritual, educational, and healthcare services to people in need.
